One of the prettiest horses in our herd is Tessa, a 17-year-old Halflinger. Her stout, short build makes her strong enough to carry adult riders but short enough for sidewalkers to reach. This makes her perfect for our more involved students. After Tessa’s bangs and tail were trimmed, temporarily marring her beautiful looks, a strict “NOOOO scissors near horses” policy was enacted at Reins.
