Equine Encounters is an instructor-led opportunity for an individual to spend time with an equine (horse, pony, or even a miniature Mediterranean donkey). Program offers support for persons with emotional and behavioral diagnosis and community members that have experienced trauma and loss. Participants engage in ground work activities appropriate for their abilities. These include grooming, leading, tasks and challenges, and general horse knowledge. Sessions are 45 minutes long.
