Ranger joined the staff in 2005 as a Volunteer-in-Training with no previous horse experience. He was adopted from Pet Refuge after being rescued from South Bend Animal Control. After only six months, he earned a place on the staff, working cheaply for hugs. He excels at giving hugs, barn acrobatics, and keeping patient while being held in precarious fashion.
